London Design Festival 2018

London Design Festival celebrates and promotes London as the design capital of the world. The Festival will return to venues and institutions across the city from the 15-23 September 2018.

Landmark Projects
Landmark Projects are major installations, first introduced in 2007, which involve commissioning the world's best designers, artists and architects, as well as exciting new talents, to create something extraordinary in response to a variety of stimuli such as a particular material, a theme or a location. Over the years, projects have appeared in some of London's most prominent and best-loved spaces such as the V&A, Southbank Centre, St Paul's Cathedral, Tate Modern and Trafalgar Square.

V&A Projects
A unique collaboration with the world’s leading museum of art and design and London’s foremost contemporary design festival. London Design Festival at the V&A fills the museum with an extraordinary range of design installations large and small, intricate and majestic.

Host An Event
Host your own event and take part in London Design Festival. For nine days each September, London provides the stage for thousands of individual designers and artists, companies, organisations and nations to come together to celebrate and promote London as the design capital of the world.

British Land Celebration of Design
London Design Medals pay annual tribute to designers who are making, or have made, a significant difference to our lives through their innovation, originality and imagination.

Design Districts
Design Districts are a key component of the Festival makeup with each Design District constituting a cluster of events within a short walking distance of each other, enabling visitors to navigate the 400 events and geography of the city.

Design Destinations
London Design Festival stages five major trade shows, known as Design Destinations. These are the commercial pillars of the Festival and are key meeting places for designers, manufacturers, buyers, specifiers, the media and design enthusiasts to discover new product releases and identify current trends.
